FNF is an educational app that helps young children learn through natural conversations. It was designed around voice interaction, inquiry-based exploration, and playful visuals.
Client Requirement
The client wanted a voice-first, child-safe experience that supported emergent literacy and inquiry while remaining engaging and age-appropriate. The interface needed to guide children with minimal visual complexity, provide replayable interactions, and give caregivers insight into learning progress.
Our Solution
We designed a multi-layered information architecture that balanced voice interaction with light visual scaffolding. The interaction design prioritized clear auditory feedback, predictable conversational turns, and minimal visual distraction. We used child-friendly usability testing, storyboarding, and iterative prototyping to ensure the flows were intuitive and pedagogically sound.

Brandmark Creation
For Flute n Feather, we designed a playful and inviting logo that captures the spirit of early childhood curiosity. The wordmark uses a fun, rounded type style with a bold contrast between “Flute” and “Feather” to keep it visually engaging. The flute illustration doubles as an underline, while the peacock feather icon adds a cultural and whimsical touch. Set against a soft pastel background with floating cloud and feather motifs, the branding feels warm, imaginative, and age-appropriate, perfectly suited for a voice-first learning app that sparks joy and exploration.

User Interface Highlights
Voice-First Interaction Flows – Turn-based, scaffolded prompts with error-tolerant voice parsing and contextual hints to keep conversations flowing.
Playful Learning Modules – Short, measurable activities with immediate feedback, rewards, and gentle progression to scaffold curiosity.
Parental Insights & Controls – Simple dashboards that surface progress, recommended follow-ups, and content moderation controls.
Accessibility & Safety Layer – Age-appropriate microcopy, time-limited sessions, and safe-mode defaults to protect young learners.

Final Output
FNF now delivers a joyful, voice-driven learning experience that supports curiosity and measurable progress. Children engage with playful prompts, parents receive actionable insights, and the app’s low-friction interactions encourage repeat learning sessions while maintaining child safety and clarity.
